When you think of southern Indiana, you may think of Brown County State Park, or Nashville. You may even think of Abraham Lincoln's Boyhood Memorial. But more recently, there have been, dare I say, rumblings, in the southern part of the Hoosier state. A newer wrestling promotion, called Life Line Wrestling, was brought forth to the masses with an inaugural bash in November. (Fun fact, I faced Bobo Brazil Jr alongside my friend John Hickman in a very short match!)
They have hosted several events since then, and have hosted many engaging feuds and matches. We have seen former Heavyweight Champion Big Country defend the title, and current champion Brutal Ben Baker do the same. They have had leather strap matches, cage matches, a brawl in the kitchen, among other stipulations. Life Line has many incredible superstars, including Big Country, Ben Baker, Troy Ace, Overdrive, "Most Hated" Jesse Watson, Raptor, JP Smooth, and so many others. The bottom line here, is that LLW puts on amazing shows, and books matches that engage the audience. I have seen crowds just as engaged with this company as I have with larger promotions. One of my favorite things about LLW, is that they host events that benefit families, charities, and local organizations. On May 18th, LLW will be hosting a LLW 2.0 event that will benefit the Burnette family. This event will be in Mitchell Indiana, and will see the crowning of the first ever 2.0 Heavyweight Champion. LLW 2.0 is a branch of the main promotion, which appears to be designed for the younger, up-and-coming superstars. As a fan, this company is absolutely amazing. When you go to a show, you will see amazing superstars tell amazing stories through their matches. Be sure to go to an upcoming event!
